Types of Mantras in Astrology
Over the centuries, the realm of Mantras has evolved significantly, with continuous additions and refinements. These developments have led to a categorization of Mantras that align with diverse individual needs and requirements. As a result, various types of Mantras have emerged, each interconnected with specific elements of astrology, deities, nakshatras, and aspects such as love, marriage, and health. It is noteworthy that there are approximately 70 million mantras in astrology today. However, their efficacy depends not on their inherent superiority but rather on the practitioner’s disposition and commitment to the mantra.
When considering the types of mantras, there are three – Beej Mantra, Saguna mantra and Nirguna Mantra.

3. Nirguna Mantra
Finally, there exist the Nirguna Mantras, which are the most ancient of all mantras, believed to have their origins in the Vedic texts. These mantras do not invoke specific deities and are characterized by their abstract nature. They are considered to symbolize the fundamental truths of yogic philosophy and are said to represent all of creation, transcending any particular form or meaning. It requires a particularly strong and disciplined mind to harness the power of Nirguna mantras, as they delve deeply into abstract and profound areas of consciousness.
Mantras of planets in astrology
According to astrology, the Navgrahas, or the nine celestial bodies, govern the horoscope of every individual, ultimately determining their destiny. These planetary influences can sway one’s life in either a positive or negative direction, depending on their placement within the Kundli. When a planet is unfavorably positioned within the Kundli, it can yield adverse outcomes for the individual. In such instances, utilizing mantras serves as a potent tool to counteract the negative impact of these planetary configurations in one’s life. Consequently, astrology encompasses specific mantras tailored for each of the nine planets to alleviate their detrimental effects.
